LOFTE Collective started because Sophie couldn't find a moisturizer that actually worked for her sensitive skin without an ingredient list full of things she didn't recognize or trust. Sophie started making her own skincare made out of grass-fed beef tallow, olive oil, and pure essential oils. Her skin began to feel better and look better, friends began to notice soon after. Sophie explained what she had been doing for her skin, and friends started asking for jars of tallow. Soon she began making batch after batch for friends of friends. Demand began to grow more than Sophie and William could keep up with, so they decided to make it official. 

LOFTE stands for Light of the Earth Collective. Real ingredients from the earth, to nourish your skin instead of the typical synthetic alternatives. Everything is made by William and Sophie in their kitchen in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, small batches, every time. Grass-fed tallow, cold-pressed olive oil, pure essential oils, and vitamin E. Every jar that leaves our kitchen has been made by our hands.
